Supplementary data

As we get our sleeves rolled up and start putting the journal together, we’re formulating our thoughts and policies on a host of issues at eLife. In our latest blog entry, Ian Mulvany, eLife's Head of Technology, shares where our thoughts are on the issue of supplementary data and data in general: http://www.elifesciences.org/supplementary-data/ .

A reviewers’ charter

Mariann Bienz and Kathy Weston's ‘Reviewers’ Charter’ has stirred up lots of conversation online. The charter is intended to focus the minds of researchers specifically on the role of reviewers. eLife supports the principles that Kathy and Mariann are putting forward, and we invite comment and further discussion of the idea — through comments on this page, through Twitter (#reviewerscharter), or via email to staff@elifesciences.org. Read more about the proposed charter here http://www.elifesciences.org/a-reviewers-charter/.

Questions & answers

We’ve posted eLife answers to important questions about our launch date, post-docs, open-access publishers, funding relationships, and more. Take a look at http://www.elifesciences.org/about/frequently-asked-questions/.
