About Mayank

As someone who has practised science in numerous countries, including his home country of India, Early-Career Advisory Group member Mayank Chugh appreciates the importance of mobility. He discusses citizenship as a privilege in academia, the value of community wherever you are, and the authenticity of embracing his scientific and creative self as one.

Mayank is a first-generation college graduate specialising in cell and developmental biology. He is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in Biology and Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies at The College of William and Mary, United States, where he established a teaching & research program called the 'ReForm Lab'.
