eLife is looking for events to sponsor with early-career researchers

Through our Early-Careers Initiative eLife is pleased to work with researchers at the beginning of their careers, to host journal clubs, symposia, chats with faculty, and more – around the world and throughout the year.

From financial support for meetings, to talks and discussions with eLife senior staff members, scientific editors and authors - last year’s events have been a wonderful collaboration that have helped us to understand the lives of early-career researchers more deeply, and to explore how the eLife initiative might evolve to benefit them.

We are currently working to identify events we could collaborate on in 2016. We invite the community to tell us about interesting initiatives that offer opportunities for eLife to meaningfully contribute to the development of early-career researchers.

We’re looking for events organised by and for postdoctoral researchers, where discussions on career development, new results, and the future of science will take place, from January to December 2016.

If you’re involved in organising an event that could benefit from eLife’s support - please fill in this form and we’ll get back to you.
