Global scholarly community survey

eLife invites researchers to take part in a survey to share and discover new tools with the most potential to improve scholarly communication.

With the relative ease of developing online tools for scholarly communication, we are witnessing a surge in new applications to serve scientists at each stage of their workflow. Jeroen Bosman and Bianca Kramer from Utrecht University Library are conducting a global survey to investigate the choices scientists make when it comes to using any of the myriad of newly available applications that can aid their work.

eLife supports innovations in advancing the pace that important results can be identified and shared. We invite scientists to take part in the survey, which will offer valuable insights for libraries, research support and funders, and for researchers themselves.

Authors and editors filling out the survey can immediately discover new tools and compare their workflow with that of their peers.

The survey closes on February 10.
