Webinar report: Discussion of the latest Physics of Living Systems research

A recording of the recent eLife webinar on research into the Physics of Living Systems is now available.

eLife Senior Editor Arup Chakraborty (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA) recently discussed research into the physics of living systems with three leading researchers in the field. The event was held to mark the launch of a new section in eLife for research papers in this area.

Boris Shraiman (University of California, Santa Barbara, USA), Eric Siggia (Rockefeller University, USA), Aleksandra Walczak (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, France) discussed how techniques and ideas from the physical sciences can be used to provide insights into the collective properties and function of multicomponent biological systems and processes.

The new Physics of Living Systems section is available here.
