Point of View: Biological causal links on physiological and evolutionary time scales
Though I welcome the attention the authors bring to this subject, I think they neglect both its long history (>2000 years!) and the work of many current biologists, especially (and ironically, given their emphasis) in the field of evolutionary biology.
