  1. Freezing suppression by oxytocin in central amygdala allows alternate defensive behaviours and mother-pup interactions

  2. Mapping the zoonotic niche of Ebola virus disease in Africa

Let's be clear. Although you state " three bat species from which Ebola virus has been isolated", that had never happened. And several times in the same context throughout the text. As for the bat species, you picked just those from the Leroy et al (2005). That was 9 years ago. Remarkable, no other similar hits have been published during this time period (except a few serologic findings in Ghana and Gabon, which included, by the way, other bat species).

  3. Evolution of reduced co-activator dependence led to target expansion of a starvation response pathway

Note from eLife: A copy of the authors GitHub repository with the R code and raw data to reproduce Figures 3, 4 and 5 is available at https://github.com/elifesciences-publications/He-et-al-2017-eLife.

  4. A bioactive peptide amidating enzyme is required for ciliogenesis

    Comment on Version 3

An incorrect version of Video 1 was inadvertently uploaded during the initial submission and has now been replaced with the correct version.

  5. Ribonuclease L mediates the cell-lethal phenotype of double-stranded RNA editing enzyme ADAR1 deficiency in a human cell line

    Comment on version 3

The bottom of Figure 1 was in error cut off in the original version of the Figure, this has been corrected in the new version of the article.

  6. Requirement for highly efficient pre-mRNA splicing during Drosophila early embryonic development

  7. Bacterial autolysins trim cell surface peptidoglycan to prevent detection by the Drosophila innate immune system

    Comment on Version 2

A citation to Bio-protocol (Vaz and Filipe, 2015) was added to the following sentence in the Materials and methods:

Preparation and analysis of crude autolytic enzyme extracts from Staphylococcus aureus is described in detail at Bio-protocol (Vaz and Filipe, 2015).

    Comment on Methods

A more detailed version of the preparation of glass flow cells for the single-molecule measurements of probe-target hybridization rates as described in the Methods section of this paper has been published by Zhang et al. 2016 on Bio-protocol here: http://bio-protocol.org/e1784
