eLife hosted an open-source community call on February 22. It was a lively update and discussion with no less than 10 presenters in the hour.

The projects and updates presented this month were:

Joe Wass from CrossRef talked about Crossref Event Data

Morane Gruenpeter talked about Software Heritage

Rusty Speidel from the Center for Open Science called for more collaborations around open data, building new workflows and add-ons

Kristen Ratan covered current projects by Coko Foundation
